This was on the way to Ben Tre in the Mekong Delta area. This area is mostly rice fields and coconut plantation along with shrimp farms.

Long, During the war the VC would mine the rice paddy dikes because they knew that Americans would rather walk on them than wade through the paddies. It was always risky to walk on the dikes but sometimes we did it anyway. This is a beautiful place. I love the row of palm trees. Voted.
