Small rural village located at 3770 meters above sea level, a 18 kilometers drive from Huancaya, our last day journey. The tour was made in two sections. First part (1-14) going with our van from Huancaya to Vilca town, a good 1.5 hours trip following the Cañete river banks at an estimated altitude of 200/300 meters high through a very narrow unpaved road surrounded most of the time by cliffs. The second part (15-28) from Vilca town to the imponent Papacocha lagoon, a two hour hicking tour through the nice unpoluted blue skies of the andean scenery.
