The MK2 observatory while functional was cramped and if I was to convert to Solar Power it needed to be larger, besides a few more creature comforts would also no go astray. The Warm Room was to be enlarged to 5.4 x 4.8 metres and the telescope are was to be enlarged to 4.8 x 4.4 metres so there was enough room to accommodate 2 telescopes & piers.
