All images in this gallery (with the exception of the last four, which were captive subjects) were originally shot as color slides in East Africa. They have since been scanned into the computer, and thus, digitized. Recently, they were revisited and re-edited, during which they were converted to black-and-white on white backgrounds, creating a photo-art effect.
