Nice shot, are the labels to tell the microwave age what these old items are?

It would fit well in my disappearing objects gallery! Good BW toning!

Cool cast iron cookware. This is perfect in b/w. Looks like you can hang the one pot over a fire. What can you say about Pbase? New server, same old, same old. :)

Now these take me back a few years! Great collection - note the old stove too!
I don't think they're price tags, more likely the details of whence they came? Ideal shot for b&w Laine!
Guest 15-Mar-2006 04:52
Excellent image Laine, nice composition and full B&W tonal range!

great photo...the pot is big enought to cook for a real big family...
Guest 15-Mar-2006 02:37
I never use the flash. You are showing me that I should! Every object is a strong symbol of the past, on this image. Thanks for that!

Try using a cell phone modem from a boat.
It has taught me great patience.
There is something comforting about these utensils; a sturdy, last forever kind of feeling.
Guest 15-Mar-2006 01:39
all goes well and fast here, at least these last couple of hours ;-)
virginiacoastline15-Mar-2006 01:19

I like your image here Laine and yes this site is a nightmare. I keep trying to be optimistic that its only temporary but everyday is not temporary!

Yup it does seem quite slow today. And in the meantime you have been going to pot! ;-) Nice work.
Guest 14-Mar-2006 22:35

Buz Kiefer14-Mar-2006 22:06
Very nice B&W Laine.
I though it was my ISP because it's been very fast since the upgrade except for today. I seems to be spotty now.
Bob Foisel14-Mar-2006 21:47
I'm on dsl and I get tired of the speed of the server at pbase, so I tend to use multiple explores at the same time and look at other things while it downloads from pbase and then I check back and its done. Somedays are faster than others. Very nice B/W by the way. Antique store? I see Tags.
Carole Stevens14-Mar-2006 21:47

Using the flash was a great idea - very fine lights (not too much!) Laine! I have the same problems with slow response here!
