Architect William Charles Vahland died 100 years ago....he designed other beautiful water features around Bendigo but this one
was removed and placed in storage in 1901 and only last year restored and repositioned.

With the lovely Rosalind Park beyond I saw people sitting on it's benches over Easter celebrations
