Yes Virginia, there is a Santa Claus

I heard a wonderful story from my daughter in law yesterday about a selfless young man who is
being treated for cancer at the Royal Children's Hospital where our granddaughter has her regular checkups.
He was told of another boy who had the same cancer as he and he told his Mother he wanted to buy the boy an iPad for Christmas to enable the boy to facetime family on Christmas Day so he set off by asking the car racing fraternity and anyone else who would donate he finished with much money to spare so decided he wanted all the children on Banksia Ward who would be in hospital for Christmas to have one with the extra funds raised...yesterday the racing teams in their spectacular Ute's arrived at the hospital to deliver the iPads....

The down side to this the Apple store's only offer was a 10% discount ( bah humbug big corporation!! )
Thumbs up to a wonderfully selfless young man

Wonderful inspirational act by this young man realizing the need for family contact at this time particularly...shame the Apple store wasn't so sympathetic...congrats to the racing teams as this would have made a tremendous impression and feeling of support to these kids spending Christmas in hospital.V

An inspiring story and a beautiful macro and Christmas abstract. Maybe next time, get a Microsoft product. I'd bet they'd do better than Apple. V.
