roadtrain waiting

They crisscross all over our vast land.

Been out all day...finally gave in and bought a new car to replace my 16 yr old darling that I can't bear to part with. Thankfully we have spare cover for another addition.

I'm exhausted...will catch up tomorrow.

They have these in west Texas. I've never seen one, closest would be a tandem. I understand about the car, remember last year I gave up my 19 year old Toyota 4-Runner. I actually cried. I am only now getting to like my new 4-Runner.

So sad parting with old friends...but a new adventure waiting with your new wheels...those road trains can be a law unto themselves with their size and speed ,let alone the wind tunnel they create on the road...no wonder people are anxious to let them go by...V

Good shot of this 'train', it is nicely framed by the trees! They rather scare me because they weave so much when they are on the move! V

That's quite a beast, Laine!
Congrat's on the new vehicle ~ a few less wheels than this one, I imagine!

Lots of tyres. Hope the driver doesn't get a flat. ~V~

You wouldn't want to be travelling behind this empty truck, impossible to pass! Fab shot Laine, good luck with your new car!
