Emily on Australia Day~26/1/2010

Those of you following Emily's progress will notice the changes in her shown here in this shot as to those taken the week before. I took this on Jan 26th when she was having a quiet moment of private thoughts. If all goes to plan, she & her mum will be home from hospital this Friday after 5 weeks...they will need to travel each day to the hospital for her treatment & monitoring. She has recovered from the Staphylococcal infection & hopefully will remain infection free ( that will put her back in hospital whenever one occurs )

Emily now only has 1 year & 11 months of treatment to go...that's better then saying 2 years isn't it.

I am not spending much time here & only barely touching the surface of your pmails & comments...I will get back to shooting, I just don't know when...in the meantime my thanks to everyone continues...support is a great booster I can tell you.
For the birthday wishes to my granddaughter more thanks from me & from her.

Good to know she's going home soon. Just hang on to your family right now and post when you can. It can be good therapy but don't worry about commenting. We all know what you are going through and we are your prayer warriors all standing behind you. She is still just as cute as ever. Give her a big hug for me.

I hope her and mum are home soon Laine. This is a lovely picture of her deep in thought. I wonder what she is thinking about.... We will all be here when you return Laine and we understand how difficult these things can be. Take care of them both.

It is good that she is progressing on this tricky road of treatment and thank goodness she was launched on it in a way that is proving effective. May she continue to thrive and may you all enjoy the special moment of welcoming her home.

Prednisone is making her a little chubby, but thankfully she is rid of the staph infection. Homecoming will be emotional. God bless that little baby.

Shes looking so cute, I have to say its been upseting to see the same effects on young child that I have seen on adults. She must have a heart like a Lion. Hang in, and don't worry about comments etc, I'm sure everyone else will say the same.
