I lived in Bluefield and also rememeber a train ride in the early 60s.

Don't know about that, but the train was eventually relocated to the Bluefield City Park. I remember riding it as a child when it was still up and running on the mountain. Very nice.

Karen, in the 1960s or so there was a train for tourists- just went for a short distance on the ridgeline at the overlook. Maybe this is a reminant?
