It is slightly more than a year since my last trip with Lay Hwee (to Kenya) after we closed Medichem Pharmacy. There are hardly any dull moments travelling with her. One minute we are all gaga over food, next we are arguing about where we should next head to and most lovingly is when we are sipping coffee at a cafe.
We have been visiting Japan (previously to Nagoya and Tokyo) in Winter and for a change we decided to travel during the Autumn season. Summer would have been nice but she had to work and I am quite adverse to warm weather. The attraction of a autumn trip is the colors of the changing landscape just before the country moves in winter.
Our first stop in Hokkaido is Asahikawa to the north. This is my photo diary. Hope you will enjoy this visual journey with me.
