This is the site where my Granddad & GrandMother used to live for many years, used to be 1722 Fillmore Ave, sad that part of Buffalo just turned to trash, I remember how well taken care of the homes were in the 50s 60s 70, used to be a vary large tree in the back yard that we used to swing on when we were kids, and now I'm going to be 63 in April, but I'll never forget all the wonderful things that I did there as a young child.

Engine 33's new house was just opened a couple of months ago. With realignment of the district they serve, the Fire Department closed Engine 24 at Leroy and Halbert after 113 years of service. It houses Engine 33 as well as the ATF Bomb Squad Truck. The new stations that Buffalo is building are all being built with extra bays to allow for storage of Reserve apparatus as well as possibly basing ambulance squads in the future.
