Richmond Avenue United Methodist Church

469 Richmond Ave. Buffalo

When this church's congregation closed this building sometime in the 1990's, it's future was uncertain. Stepping forward was Mr. Neal Radice, of Alleyway Theater Inc., who purchased the building in 1998, and created the Upper West Arts Center. Mr. Radice is a true visionary, and has rescued a piece of Buffalo's history and heritage, and is making it available for all to appreciate.

Last I heard, the development of this gorgeous old church fell through because of the economic crash in 2009. What's going on with it now?
