New Life Assembly, 14 North St. Buffalo, NY

This was a tough one to photograph, as it is a large square, as wide as it is long. It was originally The First Baptist Church, and is currently The New Life Assembly of God. It located on North, between Main and Linwood; it is the huge yellow brick building. Inside, it has incredible woodwork, and contains several floors with nooks and cranny's everywhere, all trimmed in dark wood. A pleasant surprise, as it is in relatively good shape, and has not been significantly altered.

Brian: Was this a church where one could find a personal relationship with God? Did they preach Jesus? Can I still find him there?

I believe I was there from 1983 to 1987. Started with Pastor Greg Cox and them for a short time Pastor Wes Sykes ( assistant Pastor/youth Pastor) Then Pastor Bill Dudek. I was baptised in that baptismal to the right of the picture.

I haven't seen the church since 1962 when my father was the pastor. It hasn't changed.
