Great b&w of the county hall clock dials. You might be interested to know that the tower clock, built by E Howard in 1876 is still driven by pendulum and weights. There is a motor rewind to the weights nowadays. In the old days, it needed to be wound once a week. Marvin DeBoy of Derby New York restored it in the 1970s. Mr. Deboy taught me the rudiments of clock repair and I maintain this clock as a volunteer. The current faces are not the original ones.
