GREENSBORO, N.C. — A moped rider was taken to the hospital Monday morning after he was struck by a car on High Point Road in Greensboro.
According to police, all eastbound lanes of High Point Road will be closed near Oakwood Drive until further notice.
Police say a man named Tuan Ho was riding the moped. He was attempting to turn left onto High Point Road from Oakwood Drive when he was struck by a 1997 Mercedes Benz.
Ho was taken to the hospital with injuries that do not appear to be life-threatening, police said.
It was not clear when the roadway is expected to be cleared or if any charges are expected to be filed as a result of the crash.
No other information was available.
