Sheung Yiu Folk Museum

Originally, the museum was a small village with the same family name “Wong”. The meaning of “Sheung” and “Yiu” in English is “Upper” and “Kiln”. Of course, there was a famous kiln in the village for manufacturing bricks. In 1981, the whole village was handed-over to the government. After a series of recovering and converting process, the museum have been opening to public from 1984.

The address of Sheung You Folk Museum is Pak Tam Chung Nature Trail, Sai Kung, New Territories, Hong Kong.
