In this vacation, I stayed three nights in Penang. Except airplane spotting, I spent all time in George Town. Before I walked through the Colonial Heritage Walk and visited the heritages, I cannot imagine that how amazing and attractive of all these colonial heritages. Moreover, the contribution of Malaysia and Penang Government in maintain and safeguard the heritages is respectful. It is not just for enhancing the tourism but also for future generations.

George Town is the capital of Penang. The name of this city is to commemorate Britain's King George III (4th June 1738 - 29th January 1820). The George Town is located at the north east of Penang Island. From 18th Century, it was the base of British India Company in Malay States of British Colony. After the town was built, the fort, port, warehouse, banks and the office of many foreign companies were situated.

On 7th July, 2008, George Town was declared as UNESCO World Heritage Site.
