Another shot of Hopi Drummers/singers, performing the Butterfly Dance (the drummers themselves did not dance of course!!).

This shot is a rare occurance - some Hopi dancers were on hand to celebrate the summer solstice with the Butterfly Dance. The dance took place in the central plaza of Pueblo Bonito in Chaco Canyon National Park, possibly where similar dances would been performed thousands of years ago on the same day.

The Hopi explicity allowed photography at the event.
