THAT'S how you shoot lions !

Dedicated to Walter Palmer, the american dentist who shot Cecil the Lion in Zimbabwe. For pleasure and to feel manly, I guess. A small dick complex if there ever was one....

Facing a strong public outcry, the dentist said he was sorry for killing the famous animal, but added that 'hunting is my passion'.

As if that, and 50k$, buys anyone the right to wound a protected animal with a bow and arrow, and finish him off TWO DAYS LATER with a rifle.

Canon EOS 7D Mark II

P.S. There is such an eloquent expression on this beautiful lion's face; he looks sad, but also something else.. amazing photo.

I ABSOLUTELY agree with everything you say. When I saw this image, my first thought was of Cecil. I can't think about that without feeling overwhelming sadness (and anger). Thank you for this magnificent image and your words. V

Just beautiful!! To add to Jola's comment, how can people shoot a y animal for fun. Every day is an effort to survive for most wild animals. Congrats on a lovely photograph.
