A selection of photos of 6X5GT vacuum tubes from producers such as Tung-Sol, Raytheon, Jan-Philips, RCA, General Electric, Westinghouse, and others -- all from what's often called the Golden Age of American tube production. Photos shot with either Pentax K-5 with 35mm macro limited or Nikon D3 with a variety of new & vintage marco lenses (Zess Milvus 50mm 2.8 Nikon F mount, Zeiss Micro-Planar 50mm, Nikor 60mm 2.8 and Nikkor Micro 55mm 2.8 AF).
