Chateau de Messey is a lovely old mill pond property in the Saone et Loire department of Burgundy, just west of Tournus, where I stayed for a week in October of 2006. I rented a little cottage with its own private terrace overlooking the creek and pasture where three Charolais bulls lived and won my heart. The series of them loving each other warms me.
