I was fortunate to spend 16 nights last November in a small apartment on the delightful cobbled market street, Rue Cler, in the 7th Arondissement of Paris. The best time to enjoy it is Sunday mornings, when locals are out shopping because stores close at noon on Sundays in Paris.

Entertainers, from baudy Montmartre old-time-Parisian singers, to my Hurdy-Gurdy Man seen here, to classical musicians, grace the four block pedestrian street while many children children gawk, rapt with joy and wonder and others dance Elizabethan duets to the viola and violin players shown here. The whole experience is enchanting.
