Lifeguard Tower - Biscayne Bay
This is at the COUNTY park, not the national park. We unfortunately got to the National Park too late to get in, which is a shame because we were looking forward to glimpsing the lights of Miami from across the bay. Another time maybe.
Last Light - Sunset over Clearwater
Looking west towards Clearwater, Florida from Rocky Point (along the Courtney Campbell Causeway, near Tampa Int'l). The contrails of an airliner can be seen in the upper right.
Sunset from Tampa
The 'beach' at sunset at the Sailport Resort in Tampa, Florida.
Christmas Tree at Downtown Disney
We visited the tourist trap that is Downtown Disney. It's the nightlife hot spot for Disney World resort patrons, as well as for folks to buy Disney souvenirs in bulk (it's the Sam's Club of the theme park world).
Ah well, it's still fun to go to. Just like Gatlinburg... Pigeon Forge... Estes Park...
Tunnel of Lights - Playing with the Lense
I zoomed out while taking a picture of the light tunnels along Desoto Parkway in Satellite Beach, FL.
Oh Christmas tree, oh Christmas tree...
Our Christmas tree...
At least until the cats get a hold of it.

Atlas V Launch - Wideband Global Satcom

Extraterrestrial Endorsement for Volkswagen?
Lots of people, and E.T. it seems, were at Wickham Park for Volksfest. A large, varied collection of Volkswagens from around the state were on display. Among the many displays: Boston Lobsterfeast's "Lobster Car", the Truly Nolen VW Beetle limousine, and various iterations of the "Herbie" cars.
