Not a partridge...and not a pear tree

Didn't have much luck today out in the swamp... The blue heron I kept trying to get a picture of would stay still as I drove or walked up close, but would take off as soon as I brought up the camera...

Is it just me, or does this picture "vibrate" when you look at it? It's the only one that does it... I think it's because my eyes are trying to bring the background into focus with the foreground... weird.
