You are doing here what Shirley Wang is doing with her dandelions athttp://www.pbase.com/wangxh/image/60256805 She speaks of the permanence and impermanence of nature, while you compare the impermanence of a man made materials to the permanence of rock. Just as Shirley's massive rock will be here long after those dandelions have perished, so too will your rock be there long after this paper has been swept away by wind or rain. Both of you have moved in to abstract the scene, and built it around incongruous contrast through the use of a strong diagonal. My hats are off to both of you.
