C2012/S1 ISON in Libra, on Nov. 22, 2013 6:01am PST (Nov. 22, 14:01 UT). The three stars to the
right of the comet are from top to bottom HD124683 at magnitude 5.53, HD124990 at magnitude 6.22, and
125248 at magnitude 5.87. I was able to see the comet with binoculars and just barley unaided.
The comet was very low and in a brightening sky. Imaged with a Pentax K-5 DSLR and an SMC Pentax-M
135mm F3.5 lens at f3.5. This image is an average of six exposures at 1.6 seconds and an ISO of
1600. Cropped and downsized from the original. The field of view is approximately 7.5 x 5 degrees.
