Patchick 9 (Pa 9, PN G189.1-07.6) Planetary Nebula in Taurus. Taken Dec 02 thru Dec 17, 2011.
Imaged with CCD Lab’s Q285M camera and a Celestron EdgeHD 9.25 at f10, on a Losmandy G11/Gemini
mount. The OIII and H-alpha subframes were 30 minutes binned 1x1, while the RGB subframes were
4 minutes binned 2x2 resulting in the following total exposures L:R:G:B =
(OIII+HA):(R+Ha): (G+OIII): (B+OIII) (min) = (600+690): (72+690): (72+600):(72+600). Captured
with Nebulosity, calibrated, sigma combined in Iris with other processing using PixInsight LE
and Photoshop CS. North is up.

Very fine image, Jim! I'm honored that you'd take Pa 9's portrait. I do believe this is the first amateur astronomical color "sitting". Continued success with some of the other 'obscure' PN's out there.
