NGC 7469 & IC 5283 (Arp 298)

NGC 7469 spiral galaxy type SAB(rs)a and IC 5283 spiral galaxy type SA(r)cd pec? in Pegasus.
Together these galaxies form Arp 298 in the Double Galaxies Class. Taken Sept. 2, 3, 17, 18
and 19, 2011. Imaged with CCD Lab’s Q285M camera and a Celestron EdgeHD 9.25 at f10, on a
Losmandy G11/Gemini mount. All subframes were 12 minutes binned 1x1, resulting in the following
total exposures L:R:G:B (min) = 360:84:84:84. Captured with Nebulosity, calibrated and sigma
combined in Iris with other processing using PixInsight LE and Photoshop CS. North is up.
