NGC 7753 & NGC 7752 (Arp 086)

NGC 7753 Spiral Galaxy type SAB(rs)bc (the larger one) and NGC 7752 Galaxy type I0 (the smaller one
on the spiral arm of NGC 7753), in Pegasus. This pair is cataloged in the Arp Atlas as Arp 86 in the
class of “Spiral Galaxies with a Large High-Surface-Brightness Companion”. Taken Sept 9 and 10, 2010.
Imaged with CCD Lab’sQ285M and a C8N at f5 on a Losmandy G11/Gemini mount. This is a crop of a
wider field image see: http://www.pbase.com/jshuder/image/129625836/large. The L subframes
were 5 minutes binned 1x1, while the RGB subframes were 3 minutes binned 1x1 resulting in the
following total exposures L:R:G:B (min) = 235:60:60:60. Captured with Nebulosity, calibrated and sigma
combined in Iris with other processing using PixInsight LE and Photoshop CS. North is up.
