M20 (NGC 6514, Sh2-30)

M20 (NGC 6514), emission and reflection nebula, in Sagittarius. Taken Aug. 1, 2005 with a Pentax MX
camera with Fuji Sensia 400 film, a C8NGT (an 8” Newtonian) telescope operating at f7 for an effective
focal length of 1400mm and an ASGT mount. Average of 12 minute and 14 minute exposures.
Processed with RegiStar (for registering the exposures), Iris (for flattening the image), PixInsight LE and
Photoshop CS. North is up
