M16 (Sh2-49), HII emission nebula in Serpens. Taken June 26 and Aug 10, 2004 with a C8N ASGT
telescope and mount and a Pentax MX Camera. Exposures were 6 and 7 minutes with Fujichrome
Sensia 400 film operating at F7 and a 20 minute exposure with Kodak Elitechrome 200 operating at f5
and an Orion Skyglow Broadband LPR filter. All three images were combined to produce a synthetic
L channel and the 6 and 7 minute shots form the synthetic B and G channels. Lastly the LPR shot was used
for the R channel information. Processed with RegiStar, PixInsight LE and Photoshop CS
