B142 & B143

B142, B143 dark nebulae in Aquila. These two dark clouds are also referred to as Barnard's "E".
Taken July 5 & 6, 2007 with a DSI Pro II and Outback Cooler with a Pentax SMC-M 135 mm lens.
Subframes were 45 seconds for the R & G channels at f4 and 60 seconds at f4 for the B channel with an
Orion LPS filter (to cut down on the blue bloat) resulting in the following total exposures R : G : B
= 37 : 40 : 52. Color balance was achieved via numerically scaled channels. Captured with Envisage,
calibrated and sigma combined in Iris with other processing using FITZ, PixInsight LE and
Photoshop CS. North is up.
