Nest with at least two Yellow-crowned Night Herons, barely visible. I had to wait for the wind to create openings in the trees to see into the nest. Unfortunately, the two adults who built this nest moved it from an unsuccessful location which would have been closer and had no obstructions, whatsoever.
These may be the first documented YCNH hatches in the Bronx in many years. They seem to have had a rookery here for at least several years, but this park is generally not visited by birders who would notice.
