Eusebi Arnau i Mascort (1863-1933)
He was a modernist sculptor, who was noted for applying this art to architecture. He was born in Barcelona and studied at the School of Fine Arts, as a student of Agapit Vallmitjana. In his workshop, there were sculptors like Pau Gargallo or Enric Monjo.In Lleó i Morera House, he made the sculptures depicting two female figures hugging and holding vases for the façade, now missing after the building remodellation in 1943. He also sculpted reliefs which represent the popular song "The Nurse of the Child-King" at the main floor's entrance hall.
