For Ghent tourists one of the best places to stand to take photographs is on St Michael’s Bridge which you will find in the center of the old town. This is THE spot to admire the architectural wealth of Ghent. From here you can view the city’s historic panoramic skyline of its three famous towers; St Nicholas Church, the belfry and St Bavo Cathedral. If you look left you will see the 'Graslei' and 'Koornlei', two streets that run either side of the Leie river.
