Thanks to its landscape, the Jardí Botànic Marimurtra is one of the most interesting botanical gardens in Europe. It receives more than 100,000 visitors each year. On the route that "will take us closer to the cliffs that border the sea, and that looms over one of the most beautiful and spectacular panoramas of the Costa Brava", we will see around 3,000 exotic species.
With an area of 4 hectares within a property dominated by Mediterranean forest, it is divided into three zones - subtropical, temperate and Mediterranean - in which, apart from indigenous communities, one finds varios artificially constructed plant communities found on the five continents.
