The Hospital of Our Lady of the Peace gets up on piece of land that was occupied by successive hospitals from the 14th century: like the San Cosme and San Damián Hospital, then named of the Salvador and of the Mercy.
At the beginning of the 16th century it turns into hospital of "bubas" (that is like was called the syphilis), and in 1574 it is yielded to the brothers of San Juan de Dios, who have preserved it up to today.
