In Scuol you can find many specimen of the typical houses of Engadin, made of stone, with small windows very ddeep in the façade and big entrance doors.
The buldings are very often decorated with "sgraffiti": they are drawings made by scratching the exterior plaster layer. Sometimes you can also find colourful frescos. All this drawings are mainly geometrical or they are some sort of abstraction of a painting
