Interestingly, in the thumbnail of this image the rock above the hermitage seems to look like a bear-like animal sniffing the roof! Maybe my eyes played tricks!

This is amazing. Very good descriptive shot from this angle. I wonder
how often pieces of the rock fall off? If at all. This whole gallery gives
us such an opportunity to see somewhere that most of us will never see
with our eyes, but through the lens of your camera. Thank you.
Superb composition, José! The stone work detail you show us is terrific and I love its integration with the indigenous rock face. Wonder how far back in it goes... BV.
