Canyon of the San Juan River below Muley Point; Monument Valley in the distance.
The Muley Point is a remote, scenic overlook at the edge of the 1,200 foot high cliffs. It provides viewers with a panorama of the Goosenecks of the San Juan River in the canyon below, the vast, sweeping valleys of the desert valley, and the expanse of Navajo Nation land, with Monument Valley clearly visible over 20 miles away and many more buttes, cliffs and volcanic spires in the distance to the southwest.
