Lamp Light

This morning, I had a business appointment in one of England's smallest cities - Ely.
Despite a 'small town' population of just 15,000, Ely has city status because of it's huge cathedral.
It's a gorgeous little town (er, city) and I intend to return regularly. An ideal place for a Pbase meetup one day perhaps?


This is my entry for this week's Totally Infernal Transglobal Challenge theme 'lights'.

great perspective and I love the colour of the street light. A Pbase meet-up sounds like fun! (I'll try to be there 'in spirit' because chances are my finances wouldn't allow for the airfare required *smile*)

Great POV in this picture. The warm light is very effective agains that wintry blue sky, and the detail on the Cathedral building is beautiful.
