Snow on the roof

The highest roads in England are in upper Weardale so cyclists call the area "the roof of England".
It was quite warm at home in the lower dale but very different up at Cowshill.
There was snow on the roof and a fire in the grate.

A splendid bucolic landscape. The snowcapped ridges and the green of the valley are augmented by the stone fences and the scattered homes. Well done, John. Vote.
