OK, it's St. Patrick's day. Gotta have a green beer photo. The only beer I had in the fridge was Killian's Red (that's Irish, right?). So I got out the green food coloring and went to work in my Pepe le Pew glass (which I got at Hardees in about 1978). The boys will tell you this is a sacred glass. Woe betide the person who breaks it. Anyway, I tried to dye it and got way too much dye in it. I also found out that dark beers don't really turn green all that well. You need a crappy light beer for that. Well, I figured that I needed to dilute the color so I chugged most of the glass of beer (Rob and Dave would be proud of my chugging job) and poured in another bottle. That made it slightly better, but as you can see from this photo, it really isn't green like you see in other's pictures. Still tastes good, however.
