We visited the Connecticut state capitol on March 11, 2015. This was part of our up east road trip. As mentioned before, by now we have really learned a lot about what to photograph when we visit a capitol building. This particular one was in very nice shape. It is not a huge building like many other states, but it is very beautiful. It was finished in 1878. We were there in a quiet day, so we got a nice second tour with one of the guides allowing us to visit the House and Senate chambers when they were devoid of other tourists making photography much easier. This was number 24 in our leisurely quest to see them all.
