While heading up to Cutler to make the trip out to Machias Seal Island, I took the time to explore downeast Maine along the way. There are a few photos from my first venture on June 24th, which turned into a very brief overnight trip due to torrential rain and fog. The weather couldn't have been better for my second trip in July. These photos come from Cobscook Bay State Park, Quoddy Head State Park, Campobello Island (Canada), Great Wass Island Preserve (Nature Conservancy), and Acadia National Park.
