The Arizona Badlands area, located about 47 miles north of Wickenburg, Arizona (just off Hwy-93) doesn't have the most colorful boulders on the planet but the area does show a bit of color during spring. The "lack of color" reminds me of the Alabama Hills near Lone Pine, California ... lots of rock formations of the same color (or if you wish, lack of color). Anyway, the lack of color is secondary, the purpose of this gallery is to give folks an idea of what the area looks like.
