Glen Muick, Ballater, Aberdeenshire

Glas-allt-Shiel is a lodge on the Balmoral Estate by the shore of Loch Muick in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. In its present form it was built in 1868 by Queen Victoria [Wikipedia]. Behind is the valley, Glas Allt.

Translation from Gaelic: Glas = Grey; Allt = Stream; Shiel = Lodge.

marvellous position, only I would hope there is a huge culvert to drain that gulley to the loch
