Summit shelter

Cadair Idris, Gwynedd

At the summit of the highest of the Cadair Idris peaks, Pen y Gadair at 893 m above sea level. This view looking north over the summit shelter towards the (rather hazy) Mawddach estuary and Rhinog mountains.

Looks like a strenuous hike to get there but the view and the terrain seems very worth the effort. Fine image and a rugged, serviceable shelter. Vote.

A fine view even in the haze.

The shelter looks strong enough to withstand the harshest of weather. Great picture John

What a pretty pov and capture! Is the shelter an old ruin or new construction? Just curious! V
