Pembridge, Herefordshire

St. Mary's is one of seven churches in Herefordshire with a separate bell tower (left of picture). The church and tower date from the 13th century. The design of the tower is unusual with Scandinavian features.

The bell tower looks quite a large building and does have a Scandinavian feel about its style and roofing.Altogether a lovely scene.V

Fascinating! That bell tower definitely looks like some of the wooden churches I've seen pictures of (mainly of Poland) but also Scandinavia. Beautiful capture of it and the church. V.
